Feline Friends Cat Hotel is located near the pretty rural town of Dolores, a few kilometers inland of Torrevieja and Guardamar on the southern Costa Blanca of Spain. It has been exclusively designed for cats and therefore we have no facilities for caring for dogs. We feel that most cats are happier when there are no dogs around!

Our cat hotel is set in an acre of land, half of which is set in beautiful gardens, and is completely surrounded by cultivated rural land, ensuring perfect tranquility throughout the year.

Your cat has its own large individual run (with approximately five cubic meters of space), which is well protected from the climate. We also have large family runs that can cater for up to five cats from any one family. Each cat (or family) is allowed out of its run for about an hour each day so that it can walk along the communal walkway (of which there are five) and greet its fellow guests, but only one cat is allowed out of its run at any given time.

Each run is equipped with a variety of toys, climbing/scratching post, bed and bedding. All of our runs are separated from each other by strong wire mesh, so although all of our guests can observe each other, they can never share a space.

If you feel that your cat will benefit from having some of its own toys etc. please feel free to bring them with you. We and our valued staff are all great cat lovers and you can rest assured that our feline guests all receive individual attention, with lots of love and cuddles. We are with them for most of the day

Needless to say, if your cat is undergoing any medical treatment or has any particular dietary requirements we can cater to all of its needs.

While your precious cat is with us it will be brushed every two days and we will be observing it carefully to make sure that it stays in the best possible condition.

For veterinary services we use the largest veterinary group in the area, which offers us 24 hour veterinary care should it be necessary.

We have literally hundreds of clients who tell us that ours is the most beautiful and tranquil cattery in the region. Why not pay us a visit to see if you agree with them? We will happily put you in touch with some of our clients if you feel it necessary after visiting us.

We offer a free pick-up and delivery service for your cat(s) throughout the area, including Torrevieja, Orihuela Costa, Guardamar, La Marina, Gran Alacant, Ciudad Quesada, Algorfa, Almoradi, San Miguel, Villamartin and Campoamor.

We have recently completed the construction of a new Special Care and Isolation Unit for those cats who occasionally might need to use them, eg. very old cats, very infirm cats, any cat that may pick up a virus to reduce the risk to other cats.
                                                                                  

                                                                                        WHO ARE WE?

Feline Friends Cat Hotel is owned by Richard and Jan and our assistants are Lynne, Barbara, Jackie and David. Our usual vet is Marie Carmen and although she is only one of San Anton’s excellent vets, she has effectively adopted us as her own personal responsibility! She calls to the cat hotel as required and because San Anton has the 24 hour hospital in Guardamar our guests can be assured of the best medical facilities available in the area, whenever they need them! Needless to say, we have had many excellent recommendations from all of the vets in our own area and as far out as Villamartin!

Richard is responsible for the pickup and delivery of your cats, as well as the day to day running of the hotel.

Jan is the administrator, without whom we could not operate as efficiently as we do. Jan is also our main cat cuddler throughout the day and evening and when not answering telephones is either working in our beautiful gardens or cuddling cats. We have a number of elderly guests whom Jan takes great pleasure in hand feeding when they stay with us!

Lynne, Barbara and Jackie are responsible for the daily feeding and cleaning of our guests and their environment, checking their health daily and reporting any problems they may encounter, as well as brushing and caring for them. They also, as dedicated cat lovers, give our guests as many cuddles and conversations as they can fit into the day! Incidentally, Lynne has 9 cats of her own!

David is our handyman and general factotum. He is responsible for ensuring that our hotel is kept in the best possible condition at all times.
